Full Review
If you travel with an iPhone, Apple Watch, and AirPods, you already know the cable situation. The Anker 3-in-1 Cube solves it in a package smaller than a deck of cards. Fold it open, set it on the nightstand, plug in one USB-C cable — done.
Build and Design
The cube form factor is the whole appeal here. Closed, it’s a 2.36-inch square block that disappears into a bag pocket. Open, it unfolds to reveal the MagSafe puck for your iPhone, the Apple Watch charging pad on the back panel, and a Qi spot on the base for AirPods. The mechanism is satisfying enough, though the plastic hinge is the one area where you feel the budget. It doesn’t wobble in use, but it doesn’t feel like premium hardware either.
The MagSafe puck has an adjustable tilt — up to 60 degrees — so you can prop your phone in portrait for StandBy mode or landscape for video. That flexibility matters more than it sounds at a hotel desk.
Charging Performance
iPhone charging hits 15W through MagSafe, which is the full speed Apple allows third-party chargers to reach. In real use, expect a full charge in about 90 minutes from dead. The Apple Watch pad charges at standard speed — not the fast-charge rate supported by Series 7 and later — so overnight charging is fine, but if you need a quick top-up before heading out, it’s slower than the built-in puck on an Apple Watch charger.
AirPods charge reliably on the base, though the positioning is a bit finicky — you need to land them squarely on the spot to get a connection.
How It Compares
The Belkin 3-in-1 MagSafe charger does the same job but sits on a flat pad format that’s better for a permanent desk setup. The Anker cube wins on portability — it’s noticeably more packable and the 30W adapter is included rather than sold separately. If the cube lives on your desk full-time, the Belkin may feel more intentional. If it’s going in a bag three days a week, the Anker is the better call.
Who Should Buy This
Buy this if you’re a frequent traveler who’s tired of packing three separate cables and chargers for your Apple devices. It’s also a solid pick for a minimalist nightstand setup where desk real estate is limited. Skip it if your Apple Watch is Series 7 or newer and fast charging matters to you, or if you want something that looks polished on a visible desk — the Belkin handles that better.
