Full Review

FlexiSpot built its reputation on standing desks, so it makes sense they’d try to own the full desk-setup ecosystem with a chair line. The BS11 Pro is their mid-range ergonomic offering — and for under $300, it delivers a solid package without the gimmicks.

Build Quality and First Impressions

Out of the box, the BS11 Pro looks more expensive than it is. The mesh backrest has a clean, professional look that fits well in a home office or co-working space. The base and gas cylinder feel sturdy — no wobble or creaking. Assembly runs 30–45 minutes and the instructions are functional if not great, so budget time for it.

Adjustability

This is where the BS11 Pro earns its keep. The 4D armrests adjust in four axes — up/down, forward/back, in/out, and pivot angle — which is rare under $300. Most budget chairs give you just height. The lumbar support slides up and down on a track so you can dial in the exact position for your back, rather than hoping a fixed pad lines up. Seat height and tilt tension round out the adjustment options, covering the basics well.

Comfort Over Long Sessions

The mesh back breathes well. If you’ve been sitting in a foam-padded chair and sweating through afternoon meetings, the difference is noticeable. The seat cushion is firm — not uncomfortable, but not plush. After about four hours, some people will want a gel seat pad. If you run warm or sit for six-plus hours, this firmness is a worthwhile trade-off for the mesh back.

Who Should Buy This

The BS11 Pro is the right call if you’re setting up a home office and want a real ergonomic chair without crossing into Steelcase or Herman Miller territory. It’s especially strong if you already have a FlexiSpot standing desk — the height ranges sync up well and the aesthetic matches. If you sit fewer than four hours a day or prefer a softer seat, a chair like the Steelcase Series 1 might suit you better. But at this price with 3D armrests and adjustable lumbar, the BS11 Pro is hard to beat.
