Glorious GMMK 3 PRO HE Wireless

What we like

  • True wireless (2.4GHz + Bluetooth) with 8K polling over the dongle
  • Hot-swap accepts both MX mechanical and Glorious HE magnetic switches
  • Rapid trigger and adjustable actuation from 0.1mm to 3.4mm
  • CNC aluminum body with gasket-mounted plate feels premium in hand
  • 12 modular parts — swap top case, plate, weight, badge

Could be better

  • 75% TKL only — no 65% wireless HE variant exists
  • Glorious Core software is rougher than Wooting or Keychron's tools
  • Smaller community than Wooting 60HE means fewer firmware tweaks and guides
  • Battery life takes a hit when running 8K polling wirelessly

Full Review

The GMMK 3 PRO HE Wireless is Glorious’s answer to a market that’s been split between the wired-only Wooting 60HE and the more conservative Keychron Q1 HE. By bolting wireless onto an 8K-polling Hall Effect board and keeping the full modular aluminum chassis from the GMMK 3 line, Glorious has built the most feature-dense HE keyboard you can buy right now. Whether that translates to the best experience depends on how much you value firmware polish versus hardware flexibility.

Build and Modularity

The aluminum case is the headline. CNC top and bottom, gasket-mounted plate, swappable weight, and a badge cutout — Glorious sells replacement parts for every layer, which means this board has actual upgrade paths instead of just RGB. The gasket mount gives it a softer, slightly bouncy typing feel that’s closer to a custom build than the rigid GMMK 2. At 1.6kg it doesn’t move on the desk.

The dual-socket hot-swap is the other big win. Every key accepts either a standard 5-pin MX mechanical switch or a Glorious magnetic HE switch, so you can mix and match — analog WASD with tactile mechanicals on the rest of the board, for example. No other major HE keyboard does this.

Hall Effect Performance

Rapid trigger works exactly as advertised. Actuation drops to 0.1mm if you want it, and the reset is near-instant — counter-strafing in tactical shooters feels meaningfully faster than on a mechanical board. The 8K polling rate over the 2.4GHz dongle is real, and it’s the first wireless HE keyboard where you don’t have to plug in to get the competitive ceiling.

Adjustable per-key actuation, multi-action keys, and the 4:1 dynamic keystroke feature all work through Glorious Core. The software is functional but not delightful — it lags behind Wootility for polish and clarity. If you want to deeply customize, expect to spend an hour learning the interface.

Versus the Competition

If you want a 60% form factor and the most refined HE software on the market, the Wooting 60HE is still the analog gaming standard. If you want a tank-built premium feel with a strong custom community, the Keychron Q1 HE wins on fit and finish. The GMMK 3 PRO HE Wireless wins on flexibility: it’s the only one that’s wireless, the only one with MX/HE dual hot-swap, and the only one with truly swappable case parts.

Who Should Buy This

Get this if you want a Hall Effect board that doesn’t lock you into one switch type and you’re done with cables on your desk. The wireless 8K polling is genuinely useful for cleaner setups. If you’re a serious competitive FPS player who lives in Wootility, the Wooting 60HE’s software maturity may still pull you back. For everyone else who wants modular hardware and analog input in one wireless package, this is the most complete option on the market.
