Anker MagGo 3-in-1 Foldable Qi2 Charging Station

What we like

  • Full 15W Qi2 charging for iPhone — no MagSafe fee, same speed
  • Genuine Apple Watch fast charging (MFW certified)
  • Folds flat to roughly a deck of cards for travel
  • Includes a 40W USB-C charger in the box

Could be better

  • AirPods pad is a bit small — drop the case dead center or it won't seat
  • Hinge feel is fine but not premium-metal tier like the Anker Prime
  • No iPad charging — phone arm caps around iPhone size

Full Review

Qi2 is finally mainstream in 2026, and that changes what a desk wireless charger should cost. The Anker MagGo 3-in-1 delivers full 15W magnetic charging — the same speed Apple’s own MagSafe puck does — without the MagSafe licensing premium. At $109, it’s the upgrade pick for anyone still running an older 7.5W Qi pad next to their monitor.

Build and Fold Mechanism

The hinge is the whole story here. The phone arm rotates up from a flat base, and the magnetic puck snaps to the back so your iPhone can sit in portrait for notifications or rotate to landscape for StandBy. Folded, the whole thing is about the footprint of a deck of cards and weighs 6.9 oz. It lives in a laptop sleeve pocket without complaint.

The materials are plastic with a soft-touch finish — perfectly fine on a desk, not jewelry. If you want machined aluminum, the Anker Prime 3-in-1 is the upsell.

Charging Performance

Qi2 certification means the iPhone magnet alignment is precise and the 15W rating is real. A 30-minute top-up on an iPhone 16 Pro pulled it from 18% to roughly 55% in testing — within a couple of percent of MagSafe. The Apple Watch puck is MFW certified, so Series 9 and newer get genuine fast charging (about 47% in 30 minutes per Anker’s spec).

The AirPods pad is the weak link, as it is on every 3-in-1. It’s a flat 5W Qi coil with a small target area. Drop the case dead center and it works; toss it carelessly and you’ll find it dead in the morning.

Travel vs. Desk Use

This is the rare 3-in-1 that’s genuinely good at both jobs. On the desk it replaces a tangle of cables. On the road it replaces the wall charger, watch puck, and AirPods cable in your kit. The included 40W USB-C adapter is the same brick that’d power a MacBook Air, so it pulls double duty.

How It Compares

The Belkin BoostCharge Pro 3-in-1 is the heavier desk-only alternative — better hinge feel, doesn’t fold, costs about the same. The Anker Prime 3-in-1 is the premium pick at $150 with metal construction and a slightly nicer watch arm. If you travel monthly or work from coffee shops, the MagGo’s foldable design wins. If it never leaves your desk, the Belkin or Prime feels nicer to use day-to-day.

Who Should Buy This

Buy the MagGo 3-in-1 Foldable if you have a recent iPhone (12 or newer for MagSafe; 15 or newer for true Qi2 speeds), an Apple Watch, and AirPods — and you actually leave the house with them. The fold is the killer feature. If you want the absolute nicest desk object and never travel, spend $40 more on the Anker Prime 3-in-1 instead.
